Cascades of the Firehole

Description

  • Type: Tiered Cascade
  • Height: 20 Feet
  • Stream: Firehole River
  • Fun Facts: The head of the Cascade is clearly visible from the Grand Loop Road from the parking areas by the Firehole River. You can't really see see the cascades from there. Sometime it is hard to believe the tranquality of the river turns into this fast movement of water.
  • Location: The Cascades of the Firehole are best viewed from the south end of Firehole Canyon Drive about 2.3 miles south of Madison Junction.
