Cave Falls
Description
- Type: Two-tiered plunge
- Height: 20 Feet tall and 250 feet wide
- Stream: Falls River
- Name, origin: Named by W. C. Gregg and topographer C. H. Birdseye in 1920 or 1921 because of the 50 x 5-foot cave just below the falls on the north bank.1
- Hike: Cave Falls is just feet from the parking areas.
- Fun Facts: The Falls River has 14 different waterfalls and cascades along its length.
- Location: About 26 miles up Cave Falls Road from Ashton, Idaho.
