Cave Falls

Description

  • Type: Two-tiered plunge
  • Height: 20 Feet tall and 250 feet wide
  • Stream: Falls River
  • Name, origin: Named by W. C. Gregg and topographer C. H. Birdseye in 1920 or 1921 because of the 50 x 5-foot cave just below the falls on the north bank.1
  • Hike: Cave Falls is just feet from the parking areas.
  • Fun Facts: The Falls River has 14 different waterfalls and cascades along its length.
  • Location: About 26 miles up Cave Falls Road from Ashton, Idaho.
